First new “Rurouni Kenshin” anime in 9 years + compilation album

JUMP SQUARE”  announced that the first new release of the anime “Rurouni Kenshin” will happen after nine years, though no details about it have been revealed yet.  This release is in celebration of “Rurouni Kenshin's”' 15th anniversary this year since its anime adaptation...

Over the years, I've come across some pretty good animes (Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, D. Grayman, Full Metal Alchemist and the list goes on and on BUT,  'Kenshin' will forever be my no. 1 anime of all times!!!

It's the character design, the sound tracks, the history behind the anime (a part from learning of Japan
from Geography class as a series of volcanic islands located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, I've learnt so much about Japan's history from this anime, and so many places in Japan.... my favourite being Kyoto)... and I must say Kenshin sparked my initial interest in Japan...

And when the series ended, I so wished that they would give us something more and ALAS, the time for that is nearing....
URESHII DESU :))))))))

I feel like rewatching the series again... I've the complete anime collection.... and Bonnie Pink's "It's gonna Rain" (one of the opening theme songs) is just drumming in my head right now.... and Oh I have "Heart of Sword" by T. M. Revolution" Oh really I can't contain my excitement... It's at the same level when I heard there was gonna be a "Pirates of the Caribbean 4"..... I'm dying for May 20 to get here so I can see my sexy Captain Jack Sparrow... totemo ureshii desu!!!

With this GREAT news, I can now go to bed :))) *nemutai*

yatta~~~ Kenshin come back!! ^^
yatta~~~ finally kenshin come back!!
this anime is one of the reasons that made me fell in the japan world...(together with sailormoon, digimon,etc)..
I remember it aired at my country tv channel when I was 2nd grade on elementary school...^^
I really like "the 4th avenue cafe" (one of my fav laruku's songs), "it's gonna rain" (that 'chao' really stuck in my head) and "sobakasu"....
and you know?? I was still about 9th years old when I could memorized almost all the lyrics of those songs...^u^
and oh,,thank you for sharing~~!! ^^

Me too.... the world of Japan and the world of anime - after this I never saw western animation the same again... well except for spongebob--- I just love that square yellow guy too much! avatar, last air bender was good too!

"it's gonna rain" (that 'chao' really stuck in my head) and "sobakasu"....
I never learnt the lyrics except for these two words and as I'm typing now, they are banging in my head...

I can even remember the opening video for 'it's gonna rain' :)))

... normally when I introduce my guy friends to the world of anime... kenshin is always first on the list... and of course he never disappoints :))))
